50 page report and 93 gigabytes of discovery still outstanding in Opera Alley murder case



Preliminary hearing for murder suspect Connor Whited was scheduled for a special set today and tomorrow. The case was assigned to Retired Judge John Feeney to begin at 10:15. Defense then requested a continuance due to outstanding discovery and the preliminary hearing was rescheduled to December 16.

A 50 page report that EPD Det. Ron Harpham is still working will not be ready until tomorrow and Deputy Conflict Counsel April Van Dyke would prefer to have it before she questions him. The investigation is ongoing and Det. Harpham has spoken to both the defebdant's and  the victim, Brett Keiling's family.

Deputy District Attorney Adrian Kamada said all discovery the DA has including 18 CDS, three thumb drives have been provided. 93 gigabytes of discovery will take time to download, said Mr. Kamada.
