Todd Newby had 12 grams of meth and was arrested near public restrooms on Marina Way
On November 18, 2019 at about 10:00 a.m., a Waterfront/Parks Ranger with the Eureka Police Department’s Community Safety Enhancement Team (CSET) contacted Todd Newby (52 of Eureka) near the public restrooms on Marina Way.
Newby had a warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody. During the search of his person, Newby was found to be in possession of 12 grams of methamphetamine in various packaging and other items consistent with the sale of methamphetamine.
Newby was transported and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for his warrant and for possession of a controlled substance for sales.
