Setting for future dates for Robert Fregoso and Rita Pimentel was scheduled for April 7. It was continued to June 25.
In the 2019 case, Fregoso is charged with with one count of worker's compensation fraud and one count of failure to secure worker's compensation insurance.
In that same case, Pimentel is charged with one count failure to secure worker's compensation insurance.
Pimentel is represented by Mr. David Nims and her son Robert Fregoso is represented by Ms. Heidi Holmquist Wells. Deputy District Attorney Tobias Hasler is the prosecutor for the case.
On March 9, Fregoso arraigned for a violation of parole in his 2017 and 2018 misdemeanor DUI cases. In the 2018 case, Fregoso entered a guilty plea to one DUI count; one count was dismissed. In the 2017 case, he entered a no contest plea to one DUI count; the other was dismissed.
