Wrong exhibit played for Jack Daniels' jury


Jury in Jack Daniel's alleged home invasion robbery case started deliberations around 11:30 on February 26. At 2:18, attorneys for the case went in; Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees was already in the courtroom.



The courtroom was opened. Court technician Brian Parodi was on the stand. A record was made because the wrong exhibit was inadvertently sent in with the jury. It was not admitted into evidence. It was briefly stopped after being played for the jury. Jurors only took a break for lunch and have been deliberating since they returned. Jurors in court at 3:25 p.m. There is a verdict.

Daniels has 25 cases listed in the Humboldt Superior Court system. He has 7 cases listed with charges ranging from DUI, robbery, felon in possession of a firearm and include both felonies and misdemeanors. The 6 other cases are "trailing" the outcome of this trial.

Deputy District Attorney Tobias Hasler is the prosecutor for this case. Mr. Russ Clanton is Daniels' attorney.
