Samantha Luna's trial date set exactly a month after her due date

Trial setting and motion regarding discovery was scheduled this morning for Samantha Luna.

Luna's attorney, William Panzer, had a penchant for theatrics and nonsense just like his client. Deputy District Attorney Jessica Acosta told Judge Kaleb Cockrum, "majority of defense requests are irrelevant to trial."

Judge Cockrum went through each item either saying that the DA had complied and provided discovery or denied Panzer's requests. Some issues he said are for the jury to decide. This was specifically in reference to the multiple ways Luna's name is listed and what her legal name is with Panzer bringing a DMV and birth certicate.

After Panzer blathered on about that endlessly, he went on and about manuals and policies he had received. Plan on hearing about urine tests, PAZ and why law enforcement did not test the urine of the female in the car with Luna.

Since Panzer is in trial in May and Luna's due date is May 15, dates were set accordingly.

Trial confirmation is May 27. Jury trial is June 15.
