Intervention was scheduled this afternoon for kidnapping suspect Chai Her. Another intervention was scheduled at defense request Preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 20.
Her was a no show in court. His attorney, Deputy Conflict Counsel Owen Tipps is in trial. Deputy Conflict Counsel April Van Dyke was in court for her colleague. I happened to see Her wandering around two days ago on the second floor looking confused, checking courtrooms. I told Ms. Van Dyke that and she relayed that to Judge Christopher Wilson.
While Her's bail bond was forfeited and he has to get it reinstated, a bench warrant was issued for $125,000 and held.
