"There is no disposition, we will have to go to trial again"

Pre trial was scheduled for Chad Smith's third jury trial on September 12. Mistrials were declared in the previous two jury trials. Defense had made a counter offer at the last court hearing. People did not accept that offer.

"There is no disposition, we will have to go to trial again," said Smith's attorney, Ms. Andrea Sullivan.

The next court hearing is on 9/26 for receipt of subpoenaed documents.  As I reported previously, the defense had subpoenaed DMV records.

No one informed Judge John Feeney that Smith's attorney is Ms Sullivan was appearing by court call so the case waa not called until a few minutes ago.

Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads is the prosecutor for this case.

Trial confirmation is on 11/8/19; jury trial is scheduled for 11/18/19.
