"On July 4, 2017, at about 3:49 p.m. EPD was notified of a robbery that had taken place on a Sequoia Park trail. It was reported that the suspect jumped out of a bush and brandished a knife at the victim, demanding his belongings. The suspect then fled on foot with the victim’s wallet and phone. The suspect was described as a white male, 20’s, 5’9”, thin build. Suspect was wearing a flat bill camo baseball hat with a gray star and green hooded sweatshirt. Anyone with information is asked to call EPD. "

On July 4, 2017, at about 3:49 p.m., officers responded to the 2100 block of Madrone Avenue for the report of a robbery. The victim said he was walking on a trail through the park when he was robbed at knife point. The suspect fled on foot with the victim's phone and wallet. The suspect was described as a white male in his 20's, 5'9", thin build. The suspect was wearing a flat bill camo baseball hat with a gray star and a green hooded sweatshirt. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
