Oh wow...My parents use to work for him when I was younger
ReplyDeleteBack in '92 when I ran for Supervisor in the 2nd district (lost to Roy Heider) Bill's place in Myers Flat was always a welcome stop for us. He would cook a huge steak and the campaign would have a late dinner. He had endorsed Roger Rodoni, who got the seat after Heider's first term, before I came to know him, but was helpful and a lot of fun for us. Sorry to hear he's gone. He had a great spirit.

ReplyDeleteThere are two Celebration of Life Events organized. The first is on Friday August 4, 2017 at 6pm at Gobles Mortuary, 560 12th St, Fortuna, CA 95540.
The second is at the Myers Flat Saloon on Tuesday 08/08/17 starting at 7pm.
Everyone is welcome at both celebrations.
