Will the defense try yet a nth continuation or will the David Viveiros case finally go to trial?

David Viveiros is charged with ten counts. The charges are  sex/sodomy, oral copulation/penetration and aggravated sexual assault of a minor.

Count 1 is sex/sodomy with a child under 10, Count 2 is oral copulation/penetration with a child under 10, Count 3 is sex/sodomy with a child under 10, Count 4 is sex/sodomy with a child under 10, Count 5 is sex/sodomy with a child under 10, Count 6 is sex/sodomy with a child under 10 and Count 7 is aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14 years.

This is a 2015 case. The defendant is in custody. The defense has requested several continuances. Public Defender has been representing Viveiros. I have been the only one following this case.

David Viveiros had a pre trial hearing in Courtroom 3 July 19 which was continued to July 27. Dates were confirmed. They always are, then defense requests another continuance. This has been the case  despite repeated objections by the District Attorney.
