Another ruling by Gregory Kreis reversed on appeal

Yet, another case involving a screw up by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Gregory J. Kreis. Yet, another ruling and sentence reversed by a Court of Appeals.

GJK is ignorant of the law. I have provided plenty of examples in previous coverage. In this case, he forced a Veteran who served our country in the U.S. Armed Forces to fight an incorrect ruling.

I have posted some relevant excerpts from The First Apellate District in California. You have the case number and can download the entire opinion.

Remember the last time the City of Eureka had sanctioned sites?

(Image: Chico Enterprise-Record)

Remember the last time Eureka had sanctioned sites. It was temporary and the City of Eureka abandoned that plan in 2015. What the public gets told vs what the people say privately or is conveyed "off record" are two different things.

CJP, Humboldt DA should read this about Kreis, Hale and Killoran

Last night, at 11:54, I received an email about my latest post on Humboldt Superior Court Gregory J. Kreis. I have received so many emails about Kreis and Joe Hale that it would be a full time job if I printed and pursued them all.

(Sarah Palin and Dennis Mayo)
(Dennis Mayo and Kimberly Guilfoyle)

First Trevor Bohn with Caitlyn Jenner. Now, Dennis Mayo with Kimberly Guilfoyle and Sarah Palin at CPAC in Arizona. Maybe Trev and Dennis can ask Poppa Rex to invite their MAGA buds up for a Humboldt photo-op with all the local "patriots"? Don't hide  in LA and Arizona. Aren't you proud of your connections and name dropping?

Mayo's profile says he lives in Redding. And he is still on Humboldt Commissions/Committees?

"If it were not for EPD, I would have given up on Eureka competely years ago. I would probably be dead, injured or incapacitated due to ongoing threats to my safety if it were not for EPD."

At 1:26 p.m. , I sent an email to certain people at Eureka City Council. I cced EPD Assistant Chief Brian Stephens and EPD Commander LaFrance. I was not expecting a response from EPD, I cced them because I am very grateful to EPD.

At 4:29 Councilmember DeLoach reached out to me to meet. She is the only one who has responded and twice. Miles is usually prompt in getting back to me. Crickets from the rest.

"Things are heating up in the CJP investigation into GEK."

I have previously reported that the Commission on Judicial Performance is investigating Gregory Elvine-Kreis. Word is that "Things are heating up in the CJP investigation into GEK." This in addition to depositions and investigation in the Kalin lawsuit.

Vacation rentals and Airbnbs major contributor to lack of housing and affordable housing in Humboldt

Vacation rentals and AirBnbs are just two major impacts Humboldt County and City of Eureka need
to address when it comes to lack of housing and affordable housing. Elected officials and those who profit will not do anything. There is also the threat of litigation from selfish, competing interests.
