On the 10/27/26 agenda for the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors is a lawsuit against the County of Humboldt filed by John KS Doe.

He is represented by Margie Rene Potter, a San Francisco attorney who specializes in representing sexual assault survivors as well as employees for discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination.  

The complaint was filed on 9/29/26. A Case Management Conference is scheduled on 3/27/27.
