Demurrer denied in Redwood Teen Challenge wrongful death lawsuit, change of attorneys delays trial setting

 

Humboldt Superior Court Judge April Van Dyke overruled Redwood Teen Challenge's demurrer on 7/2/26. It was not available in e court when I did my July 11 post and I have added page 1 and 16 of the ruling.

Joseph Gali, the plaintiff, has a different attorney. After a September 15 filing for change of attorney with the same law, at the October 8 hearing, Gali is now represented by Coast Law Group LLP's Brian Felton who substituted in on October 7. Mr. Felton's request for a continuance was granted and trial setting was continued to 12/10/26.
