Sacramento Sheriff deputies executed six search warrants in three counties and arrested three suspects in homicide investigation

 




"In the early morning hours of Sunday, September 6, 2026, our Communication Center received a call from a residence on the 3700 block of Lenore Way in North Highlands. The caller described finding a family member, an adult male, deceased inside the residence. Deputies responded and determined it was a Homicide. Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) and Homicide Detectives responded to the scene.

Through an extensive investigation, detectives identified the suspects as 38-year-old Alfredo Garcia, 45-year-old Federico Farfan, and 37-year-old Hector Medina. Detectives subsequently obtained arrest warrants for all three suspects on murder and conspiracy charges.

On Thursday, October 8, 2026, detectives executed search warrants at six different locations throughout Sacramento County, Modesto, and Tulare County. All three suspects were taken into custody and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail where they remain ineligible for bail."--Sacramento County Sheriff
