It is back as business with usual for Rex

 

Humboldt County First District Supervisor Rex Bohn's truck was back in front of the 5th street entrance of the Courthouse on Sunday. The truck was there when I walked by at 9:56 a.m. yesterday It was gone by 11:18 a.m. when I was near the Courthouse again. Rex does park in that spot during weekdays.  Certain people from the County have access to parking in the secured basement of the Courthouse but I have always seen Rex park on 5th street except the one day when he was on I street.

Usually on weekends, the only ones in the Courthouse are HCSO and anyone working at the DA's office so less chance of Rex potentially violating any County policy? If he did; who would know?

I have reached out to the CAO's office and HR's office and asked if any of this information was released to other media and in the PRA above, I want the same information. I have never received a response the same day I filed a PRA so if the County will be selective in responding to me, I will add that to my documentation.

I told the County CAO's office and HR don't need to confirm the authencity of the email sent to Rex. The County of Humboldt has used Kramer Workplace Investigations in the past when Second District Supervisor Bushnell was investigated and Rex was investigated the first time. Had I received information the same day I put in a PRA, I would have had a post up right away despite what my daily workload is and I am one person. That is the difference between me and other local media.

These investigations by the County cost a chunk of money. Google is your friend, if you want to look up the numbers. The good ole boys and gals from the "left"  and "right" who benefit from the people like Rex they support and prop for decades have failed this County. They don't care because having their stooges in elected office works for them. 

Unless you are one of the Humboldt cabal's chosen, the Rexosaurses in office do not benefit you but they can make your life harder. Rex is the longest serving current Supervisor who has served the most terms, despite him saying more than once that he will not run again. 

While I want answers to certain questions; whether they are answered now or after the investigation is complete is not as important as knowing if if violations have occurred and Rex facing actual consequences than some meaningless dog and pony show at a Board of Supervisors meeting.

Rex has been in the Supervisor position for too long. He is rude, arrogant, has no class and is annoying AF except to his fawning clique who are online attacking anyone who points out the obvious and intimidating them into silence. In person, they are smarmy or do it behind one's back like the cowards they are.

If Lost Coast Outpost's good ole boy owners and publishers had any cajones; they would have interviewed Nicholas Jay and asked for proof of the emails and texts. LOCO isn't interested in investigating. They regurgitated a FB post which carries zero risk.

Nicholas did a better summary about Rex than the so called other local media.
