People share information with me. With two weeks left before the November 3 election, these personal anecdotes are relevant.
Both Mario and Janelle have been walking door to door. In one instance, Janelle was speaking with a voter and Mario just walked up while Janelle was still there. A more courteous person would have walked to the next residence.
Recently, a group of friends in a Henderson Center had their social gathering interrupted by a knock on the door. It was Mario. The owner of the house had no clue who he was and was informed by one of the friends who is knowledgeable about politics and business. In response to this voter's question about what Mario would do specifically for Ward 3 and why he deserved to remain in office; Mario's response was that all Eureka Councilmembers vote on citywide issues.
An incumbent the voters do not recognize who cannot list one specific how to improve life for the specific Ward he represents.
