Abandoned storefronts and trash all over Eureka bought to you courtesy of 12% TOT increase and the incompetence of the City of Eureka and County of Humboldt electeds. No charge for these free views, weed, smoke, piss and other odors included at no extra cost when you visit Humboldt. 

Homeless and mentally ill at every coffee shop, restaurant and near your Old Town and downtown hotels and motels. Public space is for them and don't you dare complain that you have a right to a peaceful meal, quiet cup of coffee or need to send a work email. Outlets and seating is reserved for those with no jobs, free government phones to play loud video clips all day.
