People to call only one witness for alleged molestor Gary Landergen's preliminary hearing

 

As of 10:15, we are still waiting to see if alleged molester Gary Landergen's preliminary hearing will proceed today. Cases with precedence are still being called.

10:52: It has been assigned to Courtroom 5. At 1:30 we find out more. It has been assigned to Retired Judge John Feeney. If defense may files a disqualification, the other options are Judge Joyce Hinrichs or Judge Gregory Elvine-Kreis.

Deputy Whitney Timm is the prosecutor. The People intend to call only one witness, Fortuna Det. Ryan Richardson.

Landergen is in court with two other men and one woman. Landergen is out of custody and being represented by Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Meagan O'Connell. 

1:15 Three women showed up before the 1:30 hearing. They are not with the Landergen group. Two of them left after Ms. Timm finished questioning Det. Richardson.

I will do a separate post after the preliminary but add details of the several hours preliminary hearing as time allows.
