If Carmen England shows up for her commit to jail date, there will finally be a booking photo

Update on 1/20: England came in for her commit to jail date on 1/20 at 7 a.m and was booked and released at 8:10.
Today, at trial confirmation, former North Coast Journal officer manager, Carmen Marie England resolved her case. This plea is an informal agreement. Part of the agreement is 60 hours of community service, victim restitution in the amount of $48,836.97, cannot be employed as a book keeper and 1 day of jail which will be satisfied by book and release.

The date for her jury trial scheduled for January 23 was vacated.

England has a commit to jail date for tomorrow by 5 p.m.  If she shows, I will update the post with a booking photo.

(my response to LOCO commenter)

There is a "disposition reset  on 1/21/25  for Count  which is the grand theft embezzlement charge. The Penal Code for Count 2 listed on the court minutes from today is for trespass as a misdemeanor.

Will add more clarification about the agreement. I emailed Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees.

Try and find a photo of England and you cannot, not on her Linkedin profile, not online.

In my last post, I mentioned  there is no booking photo for England in the system. Prior to being represented by Deputy Public Defender Wade Orbelian, England was represented by Mr. Michael Robinson.

My guess would be when this case first started, she either turned herself in or worked on some arrangement with the DA's office. I first started reporting on this case last September. I usually aak for booking photos at arrest and have them in my posts.
