On 10/2, Eva Tsenin's DUI case was on for trial setting. There was an oral motion to continue by Ms. Rebecca Linkous for change of plea. No objection by Humboldt Deputy District Attorney Andy Truitt. Change of plea scheduled for 11/6/25.
I do have confirmation from a credible source now that she is Retired and Humboldt Visiting Judge Ksenia Tsenin's daughter.
Eva Tsenin's misdemeanor DUI case is one of the quickest resolutions I have seen in Humboldt Superior Court. If only every Humboldt defendant had the sense to realistically look at their case and if only every Humboldt misdemeanor case went through the process so efficiently and if only every Humboldt defendant listened to their attorney, As the Humboldt Superior Court Turns could make a dent in the backlog that never goes away.
