On 12/14, the preliminary hearing for Melissa Johnson and Von Keener was continued after the defense motion to continue filed by Johnson's attorney, Ms Kathleen Bryson, was granted. The preliminary hearing was reset for 1/5/22 and another motion to continue has been filed by Ms. Bryson. Von Keener is represented by Mr. Joe Judge.
Johnson and Von Keener are charged with unlawfully harboring, concealing, aiding convicted murderer Mauricio Johnson with intent that he may avoid arrest, trial, conviction and punishment for homicide
1/5: Preliminary hearing for both was continued to 1/10 by court. Keener was unable to appear because he is in quarantine in the Humboldt jail. Motion to continue was denied without prejudice and maybe heard on 1/10/22.
