There has been no calendar for Judge Gregory Elvine-Kreis' Courtroom 3 all week. The courtroom has not been open and there has been no Visiting Judge.
I did not see him when I was at the courthouse and heard he was not at the Courthouse on January 10, 11 or 12 or today. I doubt he will be there tomorrow. Monday, courts are closed.
Only two courtrooms and two Judges for jury trials and one of them is Elvine-Kreis. This will have an impact on the jury trial schedule and backlog.
In addition to running her courtroom, Judge Kelly Neel has to do her job as Assistant Presiding Judge and Elvine-Kreis' job because he, the Presiding Judge isn't around.
1/14: No calendar, again for Courtroom 3. No Judge Elvine-Kreis. No one seems to know why Elvine-Kreis out.
