Murder suspect Ulisses Rodriguez's jury trial for January 10 was vacated at trial assignment today. There was an off the record discussion regarding settlement.
Instead, there is a hearing on a motion to file amended information on January 10. There is a motion in limine, jury trial status and status of defendant's availability for trial scheduled on January 12. Why couldn't they schedule one hearing and address everything?
I did a post two days ago and court minutes from today are posted below. An update on the case, if anything significant happens next week will be added to this post.
If you have not noticed already, I am no longer covering every single hearing on every case, especially when there are several continuances and Humboldt Superior Court schedules hearings in an inefficient manner.
