I reported on November 22, 2021 former Deputy District Attorney, private defense attorney and currently Deputy Public Defender Ben McLaughlin was running for Judge Christopher Wilson's seat.

On December 2021, I reported about Deputy DA Steven Steward running for Judge.

A regular reader of mine emailed me today and mentioned both attorneys are running for Judge Wilson's seat and are gathering endorsements and funds.

"So far, my firm endorsements are Luke Brownfield, Marek Reavis, and Paul Gallegos," Mt. McLaughlin told me. "Still working on others.  The law enforcement supporters include Steve Watson and Tom Chapman.  Other non-retired law enforcement are supporting as citizens only.  My website is up with some content. Still work in progress but it will have my supporters to date."

Read post linked below for Mr. McLaughlin's impressive record as a prosecutor and defense attorney.  He was an attorney for several local high profile cases including Maggie Wortman, Kayla Brown and David Anderson.

Deputy District Attorney Steven Steward prosecuted the Jeff Tsarnas case and is the prosecutor for the Ray Christie case. He confirmed he is running for Judge Wilson's seat. More information about his website and endorsers will be included in the future.
