Two days ago, I did a post and said there may be a challenger to Virginia Bass for the Fourth District and their was a buzz among conservative circles. There is a new name in the 4th District Race and two Facebook profiles, only one from Eureka.
The Thomas Koors from Eureka isn't someone Rob McBeth et al would get excited about but it is just a Facebook profile.
I followed up with the elections office, "Has anyone besides Larry Doss pulled papers for the Fifth District? Has anyone pulled papers for the Fourth District?
For 4th District Supervisor:
Natalie Arroyo and Kim Bergel have filed a 501 – Intent
Thomas Koors has taken out signatures in lieu of filing fee.
For 5th District Supervisor:
Larry Doss has filed a 501 - Intent
Virginia Bass is the current Fourth District Supervisor and Steve Madrone is the current Fifth District Supervisor for Humboldt County.
This Thomas Moor is the one running for District 4 Supervisor and he is a Republican. Doing a separate post.
1/6: Virginia Bass announced she is not seeking another term. This is not a surprise or breaking news.
