The parties in the lawsuits filed by former Deputy Public Defender Rory Kalin against Humboldt Superior Court Judge Gregory Elvine-Kreis, former Public Defender Marek Reavis and Public Defender Luke Brownfield filed a request for a case management conference on 7/9/21 which is scheduled this morning.
Trial date is set for July 11, 2022. Another CMC on December 10, 2021.
I had previously reported that Elvine-Kreis had filed for divorce and asked why it was not in the system. It showed up in the system on July 23. His family law/divorce case is also listed on the calendar for courtroom 6 for a case management conference.
Brenda Elvine-Kreis is represented by Catherine Reed Kendrick.
