At trial confirmation for alleged rapist Timothy Miller-Roberts, the People announced they were ready and confirmed. Defense stated a motion to continue would be filed.
Jury trial scheduled for August 2 remains set for now with a 2 week estimate.
Miller-Roberts is charged with PC 261 (a) (3), rape of an intoxicated victim and PC 288 (c) (1) lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14.
Deputy District Whitney Timm is the prosecutor. Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo is Miller-Roberts' attorney.
7/26: Defense motion to continue was granted. Trial confirmation is scheduled for 12/20/21; jury trial is scheduled for 1/3/22.
