Anyone actually work at the BOS office and County IT department?

The comments regarding the County web site above are just one example.

It has been more than a week and if you are trying to read anything on the County website, especially on a mobile device, you cannot read it or have it properly displayed. The County has been aware of this issue for days and it is still not fixed. The County chose to streamline and have departments send out press releases via their site. The County IT department is incompetent. Their failure affects other County departments. There are constant issues with the servers that affect calendars, jail logs and other information being posted.

Most people use mobile devices to access information. Thank you to County PIOS Sean Quincey and Manny Machado, who both responded promptly and are looking into it. There isn't much they can do unless the County actually hires people for IT who are qualified.

I emailed a media inquiry regarding a different issue on July 6 ago to Kathy Hayes, clerk to the Board of Supervisors. No response. I followed up with a call today. I Never had a problem hearing back before?

This is how the BOS treats concerns from the public. Now, I even want Kent Sawatzky to have the chance to speak every 3 minutes on every item. That would be just punishment for these arrogant Supervisors.

The incompetence, disrespect and unprofessionalism from County IT and Kathy Hayes is a reflection about them but more about their bosses. The Board of Supervisors condone this work ethic and attitude.

Is anyone actually working at the County IT and BOS office? The Supervisors are still hiding behind Zoom meetings and avoiding the public who has not had direct access to these officials for over a year.

Yet, another lawsuit filed against the County. I don't agree with only as it relates to law enforcement defendants.

The County will outsource it to some Bay Area firm, most likely settle and stick it to taxpayers and businesses with more legal expenses. Why do we even have a County Counsel Department? Maybe we would have more money for things we need if it wasn't being wasted by people not qualified to lead this County.

I covered city government in Philadelphia daily and weekly for respected news publications. Thank God for a different and professional experience.

7/13: Kudos to HCSO for posting on their Facebook that the issue should be resolved this week. No response from the Board of Supervisors.

The site is then updated and a press release sent out later. It does not work with every browser, there are still issues.
