Victoria Copeland's arraignment for two DUI charges and a special allegation regarding BAC scheduled for July 12 was continued by Commissioner Fran Greenleaf to July 15.
Copeland has a traffic case earlier this year for speeding.
Commissioner Greenleaf recused/disqualified herself per 170.1 due to conflict. Mr. William Stein is representing Copeland. Mr. Stein works for Janssen Malloy and I wonder if that is at least one of the reasons for the conflict.
I wonder if Copeland will get the Janssen Malloy/Humboldt Superior Court special deal for Humboldt well connected individuals like ENF owner Rick Littlefield. I have written previously about how many DUIs he has and you can google and read those posts and decide if you think anyone else with that many DUIs has the same outcome.
In 2016, the ENF owner had five DUIs.

I did check the e court system out of curiosity about Littlefield. As it is typical in Humboldt, more than one person with the same name and often the same person listed under different names. There is dismissal of conviction for a Richard Littlefield.
The other media selectively covers what DUIs they report; I don't. Humboldt loves to gossip and judge people, especially the "well connected". People in glasshouses shouldn't throw stones.
Charges:
7/15: Trial confirmation is on 2/16/22; jury trial on 2/28/22.
