$45,000 bail for Rebecca Chapa who was booked for possession and sales of heroin




On February 27th, 2019 at approximately 10:15 pm, Detectives with the Eureka Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing (POP) team, assisted by Agents of the Humboldt County Drug Task force, served a search warrant in a parking lot at the 1600 block of Broadway in Eureka. The warrant authorized the search of the person of Rebecca Chapa (34 years old of Eureka) and her vehicle.



During the execution of the search warrant, Chapa was found to be in possession of approximately 24.7 grams of heroin, along with items consistent with narcotic sales. She was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance for sale and transportation of a controlled substance. Chapa was ultimately booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on her fresh charges and is being held on $45,000 bail.

The Eureka Police Department’s POP team requests that the community report suspected narcotic offenses to them at 441-4373.

  1. She's a mule or a seller. The bail should be $100k at a minimum so she won't get bailed out by the Mexican cartel and then skit to somewhere else. Wake up Courts!!!!!!
