"Hello,
This past weekend at the Hoopa All Indian Basketball tournament a Hoopa high school student was screaming racist slurs the entire basketball game. She even posted on her snap chat account a clip of her screaming “in your face nigger!”. I know the Hoopa community made a big issue out of the Ferndale High school students behavior toward them.Nothing has happened to this girl for her behavior. I have the snap chat video of her screaming at the other player. I think this needs to be brought to peoples attention. Racism needs to stop from both sides. The Hoopa high school principal needs to hold this student just as accountable as the Ferndale High school students. Honestly her behavior was by far way worse than the Ferndale students."
Hoopa School did not respond to my last email and I am not going to bother reaching out to them this time. I am over certain local politicians, organizations, certain people, Hoopa School and the Hoopa and Yurok Tribe excluding me from press releases and not responding to my inquiries. All that does is expose how unprofessional they are and that they are not interested in truth or independent reporting.
Disappointing to hear such stuff goes on in a small community.
