This morning, before the jury was called in, Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads was going over a rap sheet and witness testimony with Deputy Conflict Counsel David Lee, Cory Fisher kept chiming in and making comments. They were discussing Torres, one of the former Humboldt jail inmates expected to testify.

Ms. Eads and Mr. Lee spoke with Judge Canning at the bench.

Then on record, medical records for John Doe #2 subpoenaed by the People from St. Joseph's hospital were entered as evidence by stipulation.

"Isn't it already evidence?" Fisher said.

Local attorney Mark Hapgood was present,he will back this afternoon. He spoke briefly with Ms. Eads. Which inmate will he be representing?
