Warrant issued for ex HSU football player Raul Sierra who did not show up for court again

A 18 month diversion review hearing was continued to today for ex HSU football player Raul Sierra. He was originally charged with forcible rape by use of drugs but the case resolved with a plea of guilty to one count of false imprisonment by violence and one count of assault.

Sierra was not present at the last hearing. No attorney for him was present at the last hearing.

At the last hearing, Visiting Judge Douglas Mewhinney issued a warrant for $5,000 but stayed it until today. That warrant was issued today because Sierra failed to appear.

  1. The court has no spine. Slam the guy with a bench warrant, catch his sorry butt and put him in jail for contempt. The other thought that comes to mind is-wow another "HSU wonder boy athlete" with a dark background. Did he come from the LA area too? If so, I think HSU needs to find another sports breeding area to pick their chosen ones.
