Were the criminal charges and an arrest worth 30 cheeseburgers Jedediah?

(Sutherlin Police Department)

A McDonald's customer in Oregon tried to destroy the famed golden arches after employees refused to fill his order of 30 double cheeseburgers,

Sutherlin police arrested Jedediah Ezekiel Fulton on March 16 on suspicion of second-degree disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree criminal mischief and harassment.

The News-Review reported the story and then several other media outlets  ran the same version sent out by AP. Not a single source bothered to find out why the restaurant refused to fill the order.

This is why experienced and qualified local news reporters in every town and city is important.
