Clutching the same long letter he had in his hand previously, the Chad Smith awaits his Marsden hearing

Yesterday, alleged molestor Chad Smith requested a Marsden motion. That was scheduled to be heard in yesterday afternoon.

It is happening now.

Whether his bail would be reduced and trial confirmation for his jury trial was continued until this morning.

Smith is charged with molesting his stepdaughter and her friend.

Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads is prosecuting the case.

  1. So is the Marsden to fire his hand picked attorney or talk to the Judge? What an idiot... I can’t believe the courts are hearing all of his motions anyway. They need to start the jury selection now and proceed. He has already been through this. Of course he could pull his tricks again, after all of the Jury selection. Could he do it over and over again and just draw it out even further? Narcissistic behavior. He could give lessons.

    1. By law, he is entitled to a Mardsen motion. You should know this by now, following this case and other cases. Think of how frustrating it is for the alleged victims, the attorneys, the Judge, the Court staff.

Think of yourself as fortunate as never having dealt with Chad Smith, whether it be business or personal. There are many people who could tell you plenty about their dealings with Chad Smith.
