Eric was volunteering some time to register people to vote as well as gather signatures for Centro del Pueblo's effort to get a Humboldt County Sanctuary ordinance on the November ballot.
For the five minutes or so while I was chatting with Eric, two people signed the petition and another man took a form to register to vote.
There have been petition gathering efforts at various locations.

If they started waving the Stars and Stripes and wrote their little flyer's in English then maybe Kirk would stay home. Pumping your fist and waving the flag of Mexico ain't doing it for me. If Mexico's so great what are you still do here??
