Glad to see EPD Dispatch Manager Michelle Reyna-Sanchez recognized by City Council

At the last City Council meeting, surrounded by family, friends and coworkers, "Dispatch Manager Michelle Reyna-Sanchez was presented a proclamation for her hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence for the countless hours she put forth for the building and implementation of the new integrated public safety software system, RIMS."

"In addition to her regular full-time responsibilities for planning, directing, administering and supervising the daily operations of the Communications Center, Michelle worked over 195 hours above and beyond her normal work schedule (in a two month time period) to adequately train, implement, and extensively troubleshoot the new system.

It is with grateful appreciation from the department that Michelle be recognized for all she put forth for the RIMS project, ensuring a smooth transition for our department."

EPD Chief Steve Watson
