Man shoots his ex wife today at the Thousand Oaks Mall

After a shooting at Thousand Oaks Mall, a woman is dead and the male suspect was transported to the hospital. The divorced couple had children. They were found and were not harmed.

The suspect has been identified Kevin Crane. The victim Parisa Siddiqui.

According to the LA Times, "A man shot and killed his ex-wife and then shot himself in a murder and attempted suicide at the mall, causing panicked shoppers to stream for exits and prompting a huge police response."

According to the Ventura County Star, Through an investigation, police learned the suspect was a 33-year-old man from the Los Angeles area. He arrived at the mall by himself and entered the Paper Source store where the victim, a 30-year-old woman from Thousand Oaks, was working, authorities said. The two engaged in a verbal dispute before the man shot the woman and then shot himself, according to authorities.
