Moron hitting pole causes 1,600 in Myrtletown to lose power

For approximately 4 hours this morning, from 3 a.m. to 7. a.m., almost 1,600 customers in Myrtletown had no power. Cause was power pole.

This affected areas near Myrtle Avenue and Edgewood and Lucas off Myrtle. This area has a lot of power outages caused by morons who hit power poles. It is an area with many elderly residents who have health issues. It is also one of the noisiest areas in Humboldt with cars speeding down streets 24/7 keeping EPD and HCSO busy babysitting idiots.

Curtis John Bethel was one of 3 EPD arrests yesterday for violent crimes

Jennifer Lynn Glover was arrested by Eureka Police Department yesterday for PC 422 criminal threats and PC 1203.2 (a) probation violation. She is still in custody.

The amount paid to LOCO is a drop in the bucket compared to the litigation costs over the years because of the incompetent County Board of Supervisors, County Counsel, CAO and department heads who are bohn-heads

After Lost Coast Outpost and the County were both a no show on January 6 for LOCO's writ of mandate lawsuit, Judge Timothy Canning scheduled a hearing on February 24 for Order to show cause regarding dismissal.

Today, LOCO explained what this writ was about; I had reported on the LOCO lawsuit for months. It also took LOCO almost a month to report on a stipulated order.

The date of 2/24/23 for order to show cause for dismissal was vacated after a1/13 order for stipulated dismissal.

Second court mediator let go by Humboldt courts? Is this part of the Joe Hale fallout?

I was the first person to report former Humboldt Court mediator Joe Hale was arrested and since then have done several exclusives.

8 months later, crickets from Humboldt Superior Court and the DA's office. Hale has yet to be charged.

Today, I found out a second court mediator, Velda Gooden, has been let go/fired by Humboldt Superior Court. The news does not surprise me.

This disaster is now the Public Guardian's problem but is the public safe?

Status of conservatorship was continued for the nth time and I am done wasting my time on James Paelyk unless he is arrested again. The likelihood based on his past is very likely. This disaster was released to the Public Guardian until his next court hearing.

The taxpayers have paid for his stints to the State Hospital, legal expenses, custody expenses, waste of law enforcement resources and using up a jail bed for repeated arrests where he drags out court proceedings by refusing to come to court.

If you are a regular reader of my blog or have had the misfortune of dealing with Pawlyk, there is no explaination needed. For others, you have had the option to read the previous coverage with links provided several times.

Humboldt's Premium dispensary mentioned in Samantha Luna-tic's paperwork against ex-co worker

On February 3, I reported that Samantha Luna filed a request to make her temporary restraining order  against Rashaed M Johnson permanent.

Johnson is an ex co worker according to Luna's paperwork. She claims security at Humboldt's Premium dispensary was present.

I have cropped the first page of CH-100 and CH 110 because it has the name of the two year child Luna shares with Issac McCovey as well as Luna and Johnson's home addresses. One document was filed January 13 and another on January 17.

There was a TRO granted by Judge Gregory Elvine-Kreis but the request for permanent restraining order by another officer of the court was continued because Luna failed to serve Johnson with papers.

Only Elvine-Kreis would grant a TRO with no physical injuries and no evidence to support Luna's alleged claims of stalking and harassment. If there was evidence provided, it should have been included with the paperwork filed and is not displayed with the documents in e-court.

This dufus, apply it to Luna or GEK as he is known at Humboldt Superior Court, are making a mockery of DV and restraining orders which are serious issues.
