Alleged statutory rapist Thomas Gowing was arraigned on 2/2 for 14 counts of PC 261.5 (c) unlawful sexual intercourse. Alleged victim is Jane Doe, a minor.
Gowing had an O.R. bail hearing on 2/6. Supervised release was granted by Judge Steven Steward and Gowing was released from custody.
Preliminary hearing scheduled for 2/15. Public Defender's office is representing Gowing.
2/15: Defense needs to discuss discovery with Gowing and requested continuance. Preliminary hearing rescheduled for 4/11.
