Alleged molestor Darrel Tatro was held to answer on all counts by Retired Judge Marilyn Miles after his preliminary hearing which started on 1/26 and concluded on 1/27.
Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor for this case. Deputy Public Defender David Celli is Tatro's attorney.
Arraignment on information is on 2/9.
Tatro is charged with three felonies. Count 1 PC 288 (a) (2) distributing or showing porn to a minor; Count 2 is PC 288.3 (a) contact with minor for sexual offense and Count 3 PC 288.4 (b) meeting minor for lewd purposes.
People's exhibits included photo of a naked man in the shower, photo of a man with an erect penis and close up of a penis. In addition to DA Investigator Ryan Hill, People had an expert witness, Chelsea Lende. Name is spelled incorrectly in court minutes.
2/9: Tatro was arraigned on information. Trial confirmation on 4/24; jury trial on 5/22.
4/24: Subpoenaed records from HCSO were given to defense for copying. There was some discussion about one item of outstanding discovery. Future dates set for now but defense said there would most likely be a motion to continue.
5/1: Public Defender withdrew motion to compel. Motion to continue will be filed. Trial confirmation continued to 5/15.
5/15: No motion to continue filed. Trial assignment on 5/19; jury trial on 5/22.
5/17: Intervention held. No changes, future dates remain as set. Judge John Feeney's notes from interventio in file sealed.
5/19: Jury trial date for 5/22 vacated. Trial continued due to attorneys schedules and attorney availability. Trial confirmation for 8/24; jury trial for 9/11.
8/24: Trial confirmed for 9/11.
