The only reason I am posting about this press conference is to highlight who is representing Eureka Police Department. 

EPD Captain Brian Stephens and EPD Crime Analyst Brittany Powell. Another example that EPD Chief Steve Watson has been MIA since the "text scandal." I remember a Eureka City Council meeting where it was Captain Stephens and Ms. Powell providing the report usually done by the Chief.

Ironic that this press release was issued the same day as the post I did from anonymous at EPD Stephens. Watson has two weeks left, he might as well not bother to be at EPD.

I could care less what do nothing Virginia Bass and Susan Seaman have to say. Others can waste time  giving PR  to a regional safety task force = appoint people to talk and pretend elected officials are doing something. 

Look at the state of Eureka. The filthy streets with people camped out, fighting, needles, feces; people passed out in cars near businesses and residences; people yelling and screaming all over the city;  disgusting and dirty buildings and empty storefronts. Fourth and Fifth from A to H are the worst. Walking in downtown Eureka is like being in a sewer.

When's the press conference about the interim EPD chief and result of the EPD text investigation? How long does it take for the City of Eureka to sanitize the results and spin it to the city's advantage?
