On November 2, convicted molestor Cory Fisher had a hearing after remittitur on appeal. A remittitur was issued in his apellate case.
A remittitur is a document that transfers jurisdiction over the case back to the trial court.
The hearing was continued by stipulation to 12/2/21 for resentencing on Counts 2,3,6, 7, 8 and allegations.
Assistant Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads is the prosecutor for the case. Fisher's trial attorney, Mr. David Lee, retired and is no longer with the Conflict Counsel office. Deputy Conflict Counsel R.J. Leohner appeared on the case.
12/2: Hearing after remittitur on appeal continued to 1/25/22. Fisher's writ of habeas corpus was denied.
