The power outage that started shortly after noon today and affected customers in the Arcata Bottoms area has been restored for some by PG & E sooner than the estimated time of 6 a.m tomorrow. According to the outage map,they are still working on the outage.
CHP was looking for a guy who hit the power pole. They knocked on residents' doors asking for the guy and his dog, Oreo. According to this resident, 255 had been closed due to the outage.
