Michael John McBeth was arrested by HCSO and booked into jail this morning at 4 a.m. for PC 496 d (a), receiving stolen property. He was released on O.R. since this is a misdemeanor.
I covered a domestic violence case in 2015 on Michael McBeth. The age matched and I confirmed it is the same Michael Beth from 2015 who has been arrested a few times. The McBeths seem to favor different combinations of John, Bryan, Michael for names and it is hard to differentiate one McBeth from the other. The jail log, court system and press releases sometimes dont include middle names which makes it very confusing, especially since two of the boys have been arrested.
Michael McBeth arrested today is not to be confused with Bryan McBeth who got arrested in connection with the Michael Acosta investigation. Two of the McBeth boys used to hang out with Acosta, including one who still did after that drug task force arrest.
The rest of the local media will ignore this arrest, just as they do several other cases and news. Other local media have different standards about who makes their headlines and who they allow to be skewered anonymously in the sewer that counts as their comment section.
Arrests are public information. Even if there was no record available, this is a small town so whether I report these arrests or not, this type of information is common knowledge before any record is made public.
There should be no special privilege given to certain people by other local media. So many well known local families get pissed about my coverage. It is not my fault your children or siblings or family members are arrested for drugs, domestic violence or any other charges. How many of you Humboldt connected get a pass unless you happen to be targeted by the Humboldt cabal for political, personal and selfish reasons.
Maybe the Humboldt connected should focus on why despite every privilege and wealth in a small town, your children and family members are breaking the law and getting arrested. They are no different than any other person getting arrested who you gleefully judge, condemn and gossip about regularly.
