Former Humboldt correctional officer Sean Timothy O'Brien was arrested yesterday on a warrant for the Central Station shooting.
O'Brien is scheduled for arraignment this afternoon. He is charged with attempted murder, w/ special allegation personal discharge of a firearm PC 12022.53 (c); assault with a firearm 245(a)(2) w/ great bodily injury; having a concealed firearm and discharge of a firearm with gross negligence. Alleged victim is Ethan Jacobs.
O'Brien is represented by Ms Kathleen Bryson. Preliminary hearing is on December 6.
There are court records; some cases with very little information and different variations of names used so I have to check a few things. I keep getting more information so the post maybe updated.
I reported that he was the suspect two days ago. Exclusive details about O'Brien, the victim and the shooting from an eyewitness who knows and was with the victim are in previous posts.
