Setting of sentencing for Demetrius Coleman scheduled for November 17


Argument for new trial/sentencing for convicted murderer Demetrius Coleman was scheduled for October 26. It was continued to 11/17 for setting of sentencing. On the same day is a petition hearing to disclose confidential informant/juror information.

Not much had been happening in his case and brief updates were in last post. 

Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer is the prosecutor. Mr. Zach Curtis is Coleman's attorney.



Setting of sentencing +petition hearing 11/17/21.

11/17: Setting of sentencing and petition to disclose confidential informant and juror info on 11/17/22 vacated and continued to 11/30/21.

11/30: Continued to 12/14

12/14: Sentencing and motion for new trial continued to 1/10/22.



1/6: 



2/28: This date was vacated.  The new date for motion for new trial/sentencing is 3/8/22. The notice that the hearing was rescheduled was sent out on 2/18/22.

3/8: Motion for new trial/sentencing continued by DA to 4/19.
