County staff says approve the Rocci Costa Blue Lake cannabis project

 

A year ago, there was opposition by some neighbors to Rocci and Laura Costa, the applicants for a 10,000-square-foot open-air cannabis farm way out Warren Creek Road, west of Blue Lake. A year later Humboldt County staff recommends approving the project.

Other items on the agenda for the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors includes an item by  Second District Supervisor Michelle Bushnell about opening board meetings to the public. 

The staff report says many counties have successfully continued to hold in person meetings following pandemic guidelines. 

The last item is about funds to the Westhaven Fire Department. Very few people care about such expenditures, except when their lives or service is affected.
