"This is still an active investigation under review by the District Attorney’s Office. I anticipate an update that will answer your questions early next week"

I added HCSO PIO Samantha Karges response to my Central Station shooting post earlier today. I had sent an email to HCSO PIO Samantha Karges with questions. This is her response.

"This is still an active investigation under review by the District Attorney’s Office. I anticipate an update that will answer your questions early next week. However at this time, I have no information available to share due to the pending investigation."

Questions I sent to HCSO:

I was told by an eye witness that the suspect is Sean Timothy O'Brien, a former Humboldt correctional officer.

(In 2013, he was allegedly fired for kicking an inmate and there are other issues mentioned in an article)

1. Is O'Brien the suspect?

2. Why has there been no update?

3. Why was his identity witheld?

4. Is there an arrest warrant for the suspect? If it is O'Brien, why is he not in custody. I hear he has been released from the hospital.
