HCSO and EPD out by Sixth and T in active investigation

One Sheriff's vehicle still here and two EPD vehicles. Earlier, thevreader who had to take detour to work said there were six vehicles  in the area.

I contacted HCSO PIO Samantha Karges and EPD Crime Analyst and PIO Brittany Powell. 

Law enforcement cannot comment. EPD Officer Tim Marsolan referred me to Ms. Powell. Ms. Karges said, "This is an EPD case; we are just assisting."

Ms. Powell responded, "The Eureka Police Department is following up on some leads related to an active investigation and searching for any evidence.  Depending on how the search goes today, we may or may not have further information to release upon conclusion of the search.  To protect the integrity of the investigation, this is all that we are prepared to release at this time, though I can assure there is no threat to the public. "

GMOB wanting to disappear into the trail drove by and said, "uh oh." The trail is open so he scurried away on his bike.
